TLDR
Daniel Negreanu finished fourth for $415,700 in the 2026 WSOP Online $25,000 no-limit hold’em high roller. He was eliminated by Casimir Seire in a pivotal all-in after the result would have moved Negreanu into the chip lead.
Daniel Negreanu’s run in the 2026 World Series of Poker Online $25,000 no-limit hold’em high roller ended with a fourth-place finish and a $415,700 payout. The final table began with nine players on GGPoker, with $906,647 and a bracelet awaiting the winner.
Negreanu entered the final table third in chips and later moved into first place after eliminating Parahat Nurmuhammedov. The key pot came with Negreanu holding pocket queens against pocket jacks, giving him the lead during the middle stages of the final table.
From third in chips to the final-table lead
The final-table field was reduced in order, with Roman Samoilov taking ninth for $113,331 and Parahat Nurmuhammedov finishing eighth for $146,972. Roman Emelyanov then placed seventh for $190,599 after a three-way all-in, followed by Ole Schemion in sixth for $247,177.
Pedro Neves was eliminated in fifth place for $320,548. Negreanu’s elimination followed, leaving him one position short of the final three and $490,947 short of the first-place prize.
His progress came after starting behind the chip leader. The pocket-queens hand against Nurmuhammedov’s pocket jacks moved Negreanu into the lead, giving him a clear route toward the top payout before the decisive confrontation with Seire.
The turn card ends Negreanu’s run
Negreanu called Seire’s all-in with pocket tens against Seire’s nine-eight. Negreanu was a strong favorite after the flop, but Seire took the lead when the turn produced two pair.
The pot was especially important because winning it would have moved Negreanu into the chip lead. Instead, the hand ended his tournament in fourth place and left Seire with control of the remaining field.
When Negreanu ended his delayed card-up stream, Seire held roughly five times as many chips as his nearest opponent. That stack advantage came after Seire had eliminated Negreanu, although the final-table result itself was still being completed.
Fourth place adds to Negreanu’s 2026 results
The payout gives Negreanu another deep finish in a WSOP Online event. He had also reached a final table in the $10,000 pot-limit Omaha event shortly before this high roller.
Negreanu entered the event with eight WSOP bracelets. The $415,700 score was projected to take his recorded tournament earnings beyond $60.4 million, return him to the top of the all-time tournament earnings list among Canadian players, and move him to 10th on the overall list.
The result therefore carried value beyond the fourth-place payout. Negreanu missed the bracelet and the $906,647 first prize, but the finish added another substantial result to his 2026 WSOP Online campaign.
